A Konami anunciou que irá lançar "Tao's Adventure: Curse of the Demon Seal" nos Estados Unidos em Março de 2006.

Take on the role of Tao, a young magical student trying to master the Magical Arts. One day, the Demon Seal from a faraway Monster Tower cracked and let loose hoards of ferocious ancient monsters. In Tao's village, the village of the Bente Island, an extremely powerful monster curses the townspeople, including Tao's family, turning them all into stone. Tao must find a way to master the art of magic, repair the Demon Seal, destroy the curse and save his family.

In order to break the curse, Tao must find the monster egg of the ancient monster that cursed his family, Straitser. With that egg, he can return to the village and the last remaining elders can break the evil curse, although if Tao does not return by the next full moon, the curse will never be broken.

Features:
Cast spells based on fire, water, earth and wind using the DS touch pad
Battle dozens of monsters in the tower to save your family

Complete side quests to raise your reputation with the townspeople
Collect eggs and train monster helpers and battle and trade with your friends

Tem graficos bons, não tão bons como os melhores que já vimos, mas... A nivel de Artwork faz-me lembrar um bocadinho um Golden Sun em 3D... e isso não pode ser má coisa

Espero que nós, europeus, tenhamos direito a uma versão deste jogo (presiso de RPG's)

Ao que parece-me este jogo irá combinar o modo de combate do advance wars com uma gestão mais completa fora das batalhas, tudo num fake 3d...se correr bem será um grande jogo

Nintendo has also offered new details regarding a number of current and future Nintendo DS projects. For starters, the New Super Mario Brothers title for the system is slated for a May Japan-release, at a price of 4800 yen, with Tetris DS releasing shortly at a budget price of 3800 yen in the region.

A plethora of DS game announcements have been made at the Press Conference, along with new information regarding previously announced titles. It is now known that Calligraphy Training DS is in the works for the system, and will offer DS users with the opportunity to perfect or enhance their calligraphy skills in a style similar to the immensely popular Brain Training series. Also revealed was the news of an unnamed piece of cooking software set for production on the Nintendo DS.

Previously identified Nintendo DS offerings such as Children of Mana and Xenosaga Episode 1-2 were shown at the company's press event. While currently unconfirmed to release in North America, many in the industry expect both of these RPG titles to eventually make their debut on American shores.

Other Nintendo DS releases discussed included brief information sessions regarding Super Robot Wars, Dynasty Warriors and Winning Eleven Nine. Both Dynasty Warriors and WE9 have been confirmed to utilize the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection to provide user's with easy, free, and fast online gaming experiences.

In regards to the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection, Iwata has declared the service a strong success, citing the fact that over 900 thousand unique individuals have already accessed the online gaming network. Additionally, the Nintendo executive has revealed that seven Nintendo DS titles have exceeded the one million sales mark within Japan. Games such as Animal Crossing: Wild World, Mario Kart DS, and the Brain Training titles have been virtually dominating the Media Create sales charts associated with the Japanese region.[/QUOTE]

Following up on a recent rumour, the latest Nintendo Power magazine has indeed tabbed New Super Mario Bros for a May 7th release. Designed for the popular DS portable, New Super Mario Bros marks the plumber's first true new side-scrolling adventure in...well, a long time. Particularly if you don't count Super Mario World 2 which actually starred loyal dino-pal Yoshi in a bodyguard/living transport role.

The release timing is a bit odd however. Nintendo Power, the official Nintendo magazine in the US, is certainly a very reputable source (Katamari Damacy DS not withstanding). Nevertheless, if the May 7th date holds, New Super Mario Bros will not only launch in advance of E3 (May 10-12th) but launch on a Sunday (Nintendo hasn't released titles in the US on Sundays in...well, I can't remember if they ever did). To top it all off, the game may even be gracing the States before it releases in Japan (recently slated for some unspecified date in May). Thats at least a bit odd.

Either way, new Mario platforming goodness is so very close...but not for Europe. Yet. A solid release date has yet to be set, but the announcement should be coming soon. Stay tuned for further detail

O Katamari Damacy era grande jogo para a DS...

já esteve anunciado em tempos...

Agora vem a versão PSP e depois logo se vê, julgo que ainda é uma forte opção/probabilidade, especialmente se considerar-mos que Katamari Damacy é mto popular no Japão, onde a DS bate recordes de vendas...

Não lhes convém nada é lançar duas versões para 2 consolas ao mesmo tempo senão seria o mesmo que fazerem competição contra eles mesmo, e dado a realidade do japão era provavel que a versão DS vendesse muito mais, roubando o hype da versão PSP, vencia um bocado a razão de existir uma versão PSP, é melhor assim para eles, vão buscar o dinheiro por fases.
