Dear Helder,
I hope that you are doing well and thank you for your input. We are
glad you have been satisfied with the performance of the Ninja Cooler
even though you have encountered this issue.
We had posted in the Q&A section of the Ninja product how to remove the
Ninja backplate.
http://www.scythe-usa.com/support/cpu/002/scnj1000.html
We try to post any concerns or issues that we hear about on our support
page of our website. In short the Ninja was designed to be installed
one time and we did not expect such strong support of the Ninja which
has resulted in builders trying to upgrade the motherboards and save the
Ninja cooler. We are constantly being asked for replacement backplates
to install the Ninja on a new board.
It is unfortunate that you did not see our Support page with the Ninja
Q&A as your issue is addressed there. For future reference we are
interested to know how we can better support users of the Scythe
products, unfortunately re printing the manual at this stage is almost
pointless for several reason, the number of products already shipped,
cost issue, and that most end users throw away the manual after
installation to name a few. If you have some suggestion as to where we
might post this issue other than on our support page could you please
let us know as we do not like to see these issues happen and would like
to minimize any difficulties on your end. For future products though we
will try to be more specific when trying to remove the backplate for
similar products.
Thank you for your response look forward to hearing your ideas and best
wishes,
Support at Scythe USA
