Afinal oficialmente o GPU é mesmo o Xclipse, mas basicamente foi a única coisa que anunciaram em relação ao GPU

Samsung Introduces Game Changing Exynos 2200 Processor With Xclipse GPU Powered By AMD RDNA 2 Architecture

The Xclipse GPU is a one-of-a-kind hybrid graphic processor that is positioned between the console and the mobile graphic processor. Xclipse is the combination of ‘X’ that represents Exynos, and the word ‘eclipse’. Like an eclipse, the Xclipse GPU will bring an end to the old era of mobile gaming and mark the start of an exciting new chapter.

With the high-performance AMD RDNA 2 architecture as its backbone, the Xclipse inherits advanced graphic features such as hardware accelerated ray tracing (RT) and variable rate shading (VRS) that were previously only available on PCs, laptops and consoles.
The octa-core CPU of Exynos 2200 is designed in a tri-cluster structure made up of a single powerful Arm Cortex®-X2 flagship-core, three performance and efficiency balanced Cortex-A710 big-cores and four power-efficient Cortex-A510 little-cores.

Samsung Xclipse 920 (AMD RDNA2) GPU is up to 25% faster than Adreno 730 in Vulkan test

This month started with rumors about next-gen Samsung’s chip encountering thermal throttling issues and as a result a necessity to substantially downclock the processor. Those rumors are yet to be confirmed because Samsung has not publicly confirmed the frequencies.
The new Exynos chip is listed with a clock speed of 555 MHz, which is way lower than it should be, and unlikely to be the correct frequency. The Xclipse 920 GPU is recognized as GFX1040 GPU, which confirms it is part of the AMD RDNA2 product family.

The graphics are powered by Xclipse 920 GPU which is based on AMD RDNA2 graphics IP. The exact specs are not known but the rumors have suggested it might be equipped with 6 Compute Units, which gives 384 Stream Processors.

in OpenCL benchmarks the RDNA2 GPU scores up to 9143 points, which is up to 50.7% higher than the best score listed by Spandragon Gen1 with Adreno 730 GPU in Oneplus 10 PRO (vs 6050 points). In more gaming-related graphics API, Vulkan, Samsung processor is up to 25.5% faster than Qualcomm’s (9143 vs to 7285).

Repara, era para ter evento próprio que foi cancelado sem qualquer aviso.

Foi prometido que ia ser apresentado no evento unpacked e... grilos.

Ainda resta alguma dúvida que a Samsung está envergonhada do fail que é o exynos 2200?

EDIT: Gostei especialmente desta parte:

In the UL Benchmarks 3DMark Wildlife test, the Exynos 2200 posted a score of 6684 points, compared to 9548 points by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 (a difference of 42 percent). What's even more interesting, is that the Exynos 2200 is barely 7 percent faster than the previous-gen Exynos 2100 (Arm Mali GPU) powering the S21 Ultra, which scored 6256 points. The story repeats with the GFXBench "Manhattan" off-screen render benchmark. Here, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 is 30 percent faster than the Exynos 2200, which performs on-par with the Exynos 2100. Find a plethora of other results in the complete review comparing the two flavors of the S22 Ultra.
Özüağ predicts that Samsung could be working on a major software update that could improve or normalize performance between the two phone types. and that the Exynos 2200 is in need of significant software-level optimization. Özüağ also offers valuable insights into a possible cause the RDNA2-based Xclipse 920 is underwhelming. The iGPU could be starved for engine clocks, or we think possibly even memory bandwidth. Engine clocks play a decisive role in the performance of RDNA2-based discrete GPUs. AMD also spent significant engineering capital on lubricating the memory sub-system with the on-die Infinity Cache memory that operates at bandwidths typically 3-4 times that of the GDDR6 memory. The extremely tight power budget and Samsung 4 nm node could be impacting the iGPU's ability to sustain high engine clocks. We'll keep track on this story, as it marks AMD's second rodeo with smartphone graphics since the ATI Imageon days (over 14 years ago).

Samsung Electronics to Make Its Own CPUs for Smartphones
Samsung Electronics recently assembled an internal team to develop CPU cores. To lead the team, the company hired Rahul Tuli, a senior developer who orchestrated CPU development projects at AMD.
Samsung Electronics is also accelerating the development of next-generation APs, including chips for Galaxy smartphones. At the end of 2022, the System LSI Division at Samsung Electronics launched the AP Solution Development Team along with the Mobile Experience (MX) Division to optimize APs. The team is carrying out advanced research on next-generation chips. Under the tentative name of the Galaxy Chip, the team is planning to set up a dedicated chip more optimized than existing ones. Industry insiders are expecting the first version of the Galaxy Chip to come out in 2025. However, since Samsung Electronics has just begun the development of its own CPU cores, the first version of the Galaxy Chip is highly likely to have ARM CPUs.

Agora é que vai for...

Moreover, potential risk is growing over Samsung Electronics’ alliance with ARM. This explains why Samsung Electronics has to expedite the development of its own CPUs.

"A recent media report that Samsung has established an internal team dedicated to CPU core development is not true. Contrary to the news, we have long had multiple internal teams responsible for CPU development and optimization, while constantly recruiting global talents from relevant fields."
https://www.androidpolice.com/samsung-wants-pull-apple-custom-cpu-cores-report/
