Harvest Moon: Tree Of Tranquility Dated
The farming veteran returns to Wii in October
Harvest Moon fans will be pleased to learn that Tree Of Tranquility will finally be released for Wii in the UK on 9 October.
The new game in the farming series was released in Japan in 2007 and hit the US last year, so it's taken a long time to reach these shores.
In the first Harvest Moon game to be made exclusively for the Wii, you'll be tasked with running a farm in a fantasy world. As usual, you'll begin with a small plot before building it up into a fully fledged farm with crops and animals.
You must plant seeds to grow fruits, vegetables, flowers and herbs in the spring, summer and autumn. You can also go fishing and mining for extra profit and collect items to make home improvements.
As you build up your farm you'll befriend the locals, get married and have children. It's typical Harvest Moon gameplay.
Of course, this being Harvest Moon, there's some strange story. The Harvest Tree was the life of Waffle Island but it has died, causing the rainbows to disappear along with the Harvest Sprites. So you have to save the Sprites, bring the Tree back to life and deliver prosperity to the island once again.
