Released just today, WHS can be downloaded and installed manually, or you can just wait until August, when it will hit Automatic Updates. And customers of HP's WHS-based MediaSmart Server get a few added bonuses: Separate PP1-based software installs that add server-side anti-virus and anti-malware courtesy of McAfee Total Protection Service, and PVConnect Media Server, a Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA)-certified media sharing solution.
In this set of screenshots, you can see the manual install of WHS PP1 as well as the install and configuration of these new HP MediaSmart Server features. My review of WHS PP1 should be available in the next few days.
