A website has now opened for Sony's digital distribution network, the E-Distribution Initiative. It will be similar to Nintendo's Virtual Console and Microsoft's Xbox Live Arcade. At the moment, it looks like the Sony Computer Entertainment company at the country you're stationed in will be publishing whatever game the developer develops. There is an English, Korean, and Japanese website. It says nothing about companies, so maybe QJ's numerous homebrew applicants can see if they can get their hard work published? It's unlikely Sony will allow that without a price though...
Check out the website, this may be the key to the PSP getting some new innovative titles. It doesn't list a platform, so it should be a given that both the PSP and PS3 will be using this network. Thank you to MrDaBucket for the tip.
