Rumor: Rayman Raving Rabbids 3 a caminho antes do Natal

Third-party publisher Ubisoft on Monday hooked us up with a new teaser video for – well, we'll let you decide. For now, the company isn't commenting one way or the other about what the footage below represents, but we've got a few guesses and we think you will, too.

Behold, what looks to be a teaser video for what could be Rayman Raving Rabbids 3. The evil bunnies from the series are back and one in particular has discovered Nintendo's Wii Balance Board, which comes packaged with Wii Fit on May 19 in America. After examining the board for a few moments, the critter bites it and then swallows it whole.

Now, we're not too bright, but even we can take a stab at what this might imply – namely, that the next Rabbids game is sure to make use of the Wii Balance Board in some capacity. It's certainly not an outlandish possibility. After all, in an IGN interview with NOA president Reggie Fils-Aime earlier this year, the executive stated that 10 games were already in development for the peripheral.

Para além disso, "After all, in an IGN interview with NOA president Reggie Fils-Aime earlier this year, the executive stated that 10 games were already in development for the peripheral.".

News: Raving Rabbids 3 Revealed
The third Wii Rabbids title is revealed! Behold: Raving Rabbids TV Party!

Dropping the inclusion of Rayman in its name - and relegating said mascot to a cameo role, the third Raving Rabbids title is set to feature the titular Rabbids in more than 65 new minigames, as they set about now invading TV stations. Players must rescue a week of TV from their destruction, with new minigames to do so appearing each day.

As previously suspected, some minigames will optionally make use of the Wii Balance Board which comes with Wii Fit. Local four-player will be supported, with the ability also for up to eight people playing on a turn-by-turn basis. Online support will be available in the form of leader-boards.

Apparently focus is shifting more to the single-player experience, which has been neglected a little so far in favour of multi-player. Players must save a Weather Channel, Music Channel, Movie Channel, as well as a 'Trash TV' channel Interactive commercial breaks are also set to be included.

It sounds like a novel new way to present another party game title for the Wii. We'll let you know when we hear more...
