Um amigo meu reinstalou o windows mas não guardou as keys para desencriptar alguns ficheiros.
Já pesquisei mas tudo aponta para não ser possível e os ficheiros estarem perdidos :(

já agora, como é ke se encripta, para n se cair no mesmo erro ke o teu amigo?

e já ouvi falar aki algures de alguém ter tido esse problema tb, e dizerem ke n havia solução.

Keep in mind that others would still be able to alter the file (not the content of course). It means they can search for the file, delete or move them to another folder, etc. The encrypted files or data in the encrypted folder are still visible to others but they cannot access them (to open the file or to read the content). It is nearly impossible to crack the encryption.

1- A partição tem de estar formatada em NTFS.
2- Botão direito na pasta/ficheiro
3- Properties
4- Separador General
5- Botão Advanced
6- Activar a opção Encrypt contents to secure data

Para guardar os certificados e as chaves:

1- Start -> Run -> certmgr.msc
2- Pasta Personal
3- Pasta Certificates
4- Botão direito no certificado All Tasks -> Export
