The SLK-800 is a phenomenal performer - with the Papst fan it turns in significantly better numbers than Thermalright’s own AX-7, and paired with the Vantec Tornado its performance is truly amazing. If Thermalright could include some instructions and come up with a better clip design, this would be the perfect heatsink. If you are considering a Swiftech MCX-462+ or an Alpha PAL8045, this cooler definitely deserves your consideration. Thermalright has one-uped themselves once again with yet another superb design. Highly recommended.
Highs:
- top drawer performance
- solid copper
- takes 60,70,80mm fans
- good looks
- reasonably priced
Lows:
- lousy clip
- no instructions
