A primeira "grande" novidade da Nintendo Media Summit que se realiza hoje e amanhã nos EUA foi o Mario Super Sluggers.

The ongoing excitement over Nintendo’s groundbreaking Wii system gets a suprise springtime boost with the announcement of a new game. Kicking off its semiannual media summit in San Francisco near the company’s new sales and marketing offices in Redwood City, California, Nintendo of America today revealed plans for Mario Super Sluggers for Wii, giving baseball fans even more reason to root this season.
“Mario is truly a one-of-a-king character; clearly fans can’t get enough of him and his friends,” said Cammie Dunaway, Nintendo of America’s executive vice president of sales and marketing. “We’re giving Wii users brilliant new ways to enjoy him while expanding our series of active-play games.”
In the same spirit as other sports-themed Mario games on Wii like Mario Strikers Charged and Mario Kart Wii, Mario Super Sluggers blends richly interactive baseball action with eccentric characters and elements from across the popular Mario universe. Players can swing the wireless Wiimote just like a bat or wave it toward the plate to deliver a masterful pitch, enjoying the same intuitive, easy-to-learn controls that helped make Wii Sports a living room hit. With Mario and his unpredictable pals filling out the roster, imagination and active-play innovation are sure to dominate the diamond in this lively title, scheduled for release later this year.

Já se sabia do titulo há uns meses, mas tinha outro nome, está a ser feito pela Namco Bandai.

Bom... isto é o que o Strikers foi para a Europa... mas tal como o Football europeu para eles não é muito popular... o mesmo pode ser dito do Baseball para nós.

Poucos chegámos ao estatuto pro no jogo de baseball do Wii Sports por exemplo.

Mas será a "loucura" de basebol comparado com a "loucura" de futebol do Strikers?

É que se sim... pode ser interessante. Se bem que é dificil imaginar um jogo de basebol frenético...

Um novo Mario Tenis é que era! Adoro o da GC, faltava-lhe era o modo de história como no GBA!

Agora o que eu queria meeeeeeeeesmo era um de tenis! Para mim são os melhores e mais bem conseguidos de todos os franchises desportivos do Mario! É pena o da GC não ter modo de carreira. Espero que se vier um pa Wii incluam um!

Depois de ter visto o primeiro video até gostei, estava um pouco desconfiado mas parece-me bem encaminhado.

Seja como for, só pensarei em comprar se tiver online.

Bem...não sei se te dignaste a ver/ler o meu post anterior a dizer o que pensava dos franchises de desporto do Mario, mas acho que consegues, se não tiveres muito ocupado a odiar quem comete erros ortográficos, que eu simplesmente me limitei a fazer uma crítica construtiva e que gosto dos Mario sports! E já que vens criticar quem critica o jogo, ao menos dizias alguma coisa sobre o jogo para não deixar spam na thread! ^^

Agora para falar do jogo, como disse, esperava gráficos melhores vindos da nintendo, e achei a tela de cores pouco Nintendo, ou seja, cores muito deslavadas, pouco vivas. Espero que seja da qualidade do vídeo!

P.S.: Obrigado por conseguires ser mentalmente mais abrangente GlassPrisioner! Eu bem que me parecia que não era com "x" *agita punho fechado no ar* (espero que esteja tudo bem escrito desta vez)!

Não sei se compro este... não compreendi muito bem a mecânica e basebol não é para os europeus, é mais para os USA.

É a mecânica normal de um jogo de basebol. Gostei de podermos passar para qualquer uma das bases.

Isto no Japão e América vai vender que nem pãezinhos quentes.

Não parece nada de mais...

Eu fiquei desapontado com o jogo.

Confesso que gostei do que li e de certa forma fiquei curioso, mas quando cheguei a parte onde disseram que não há online fiquei desiludido e provavelmente não o comprarei. Estes jogos são fixes é para multiplayer, não me imaginava a jogar o strikers só contra o cpu da mesma forma que não me imagino a fazer isso com este durante muito tempo. O online iria aumentar a longevidade do jogo.

É pena, este sai fora da wishlist, embora gostasse de o jogar na mesma mas 50e são 50e.
