Bom dia,

O Meu Imac (2,4 Gz) com o OSX 10.5.2, desligou e não o consigo ligar.
Tem 3 meses, com todas as actualizações e ontem estava a utiliza-lo e fui jantar! Deixei-o ligado porque dali a 15 minutos entrava em modo "Sleep" e depois mais tarde quando cheguei estava desligado! Tentei ligar e nada!!!! Desliguei da ficha, voltei a ligar e nada!

Nunca tive problemas nestes 3 meses de mundo Mac (sou um recem Switcher) mas agora este problema é muito grave!

Eh lá! O meu é um irmão gémeo do teu e estou a ficar preocupado! Quando ligas, sentes alguma actividade na zona do disco rígido (na zona do botão de on/off)?

Não sei como funciona nos iMac, mas mantém o botão premido durante uns 15/20 segundos até ouvires uns bips, para ver se funciona. Normalmente resulta nos macbook

Tenta fazer isto (retirado do fórum da apple>imac: http://discussions.apple.com/search.jspa?objID=c132&search=Go&q=imac+dead:
"On the off chance it helps, disconnect everything including the power cable, wait for at least 15 seconds, then reconnect power and try switching it on again. This will reset the SMC which might be causing the problem. Given the description, that sounds like a long shot however.

Contact the retailer from whom you purchased it with a view to returning it for them to resolve the problem. Given the state of consumer protection law in England and Wales, you would very likely be entitled to a replacement system - assuming the failure was not caused by something you were responsible for of course! "
