Venho informar que já se encontra disponivel para download o news channel.
Têm de fazer um update à consola e quando o mesmo acabar verificarão que o novo canal já está disponivel.
Já experimentei usá-lo mas foi por pouco tempo. Nas noticias nacionais só encontrei uma.
Gostei muito da feature globe, tal como existe para o weather channel.
Enfim, não vou ser muito descritivo para vos deixar explorar por vós.

O News Channel esta excelente, muito bem concebido.
Apesar de ser uma feature um bocado inútil e despropositada numa consola, parece estar muito bem feito e straight to the point

experimentei prai 5minutos. tá giro, mas acho k nao interessa para nada numa consola.
Está muito melhor do que eu pensei! Parece-me de utlização bastante simples.

Gostei bastante da interface simples e afinada, remiscente do Forecast Channel (globo, cidades).
Este foi o ultimo channel anunciado antes do lançamento da consola a sair, espero que a Nintendo tenha mais uns em mente para o futuro. (music channel e movie channel, se faz favor)

NEWS CHANNEL - VERSION TWO
While Nintendo launched the News Channel late last week, the message on the Wii's message board spoke of a "first version". Later this year, we'll see a second version.
Today, we received word from Nintendo on their mysterious message delivered to all Wii owners late last week. The original message read: "Today we present the News Channel, which allows you to scan the globe for the latest headlines! Please bear in mind that this is only the first version of the News Channel launching in Europe, but the second version will be coming soon. We thank you for your patience, and hope you will enjoy getting the news from around the world with your Wii."
The news is currently offered is covered by Associated Press. Nintendo BeNeLux (Belgium, Netherlands and Luxemburg) states that the second version, delivered later this year, will feature news aimed more at the European audience.Fonte: http://ds-x2.com/index.php?id=10039
