Tirando isso e algumas ligeiras diferenças em algumas características, é a mesma coisa. UMTS n e mais k o nome pomposo para 3G ;) a diferença das redes UMTS (3G) para as redes GSM e a superior largura de banda k permite a mais rapida transmissao de dados. Esse aumento da largura de banda permitiu a transmissao de videos, permitindo assim a realizaçao da videochamada.
